   First, this razor is substantial in the hand. it feels like a razor, weighty, but not over heavy, and it balances superbly. The edge is excellent, and extremely sharp. The razor shows signs of being hand made: the jimps are well done and deep, and occasionally slightly askew. This is not a condemnation, but rather an observation that indeed, these razors are hand made.

   I have shaved with this razor now for over a month, and it is at the head of my rotation. It feels as balanced as one of my more expensive Dovos, and its sharpness rivals my vintage razor in sharpness. I wholeheartedly recommend this razor, and maker, to anyone looking for a handmade razor that will not break the bank.

   Hands down the most beautiful and best razor I have ever owned, shaves like a dream and looks like it should be hanging on the wall at a gallery. Jacob is a artist, and his art just happens to be functional.

   As soon as I got this in the mail I went into the bathroom to use it. And being as I am not a newbie to shaving like this I was excited to see the difference between these real straight razors and the one your barber uses. And I have to say it was a smooth shave and a lot easier than I expected.

   Before I got this razor, I decided to let my facial hair grow out to see how well it shaved. Was I surprised. The entire time my hair was just being sliced off and I didn’t feel a thing. After I was done, I was left with just a smooth face.

   A definite must have in my opinion.
